According to sources, the scarlet couple were spotted wearing matching rings, sparking a new rumor that they tied the knot. A report claims that an alleged insider spilled the beans about an “intimate ceremony” that took place at the couple’s infamous Malibu home.
As far as rumors go, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are fairly used to them by now. People now claim to have spotted Cyrus wearing an extra band on top of her gorgeous 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring, and apparently spotted Hemsworth sporting a matching band.
The anonymous insider said, “It was a very intimate ceremony at their house in Malibu. I’m told only a handful of people were there and they’re still the only ones who know,” adding, “Miley and Liam haven’t really been making it public knowledge and don’t plan to anytime soon.”
Regarding spotting bling on their ring fingers, neither Cyrus nor Hemsworth have confirmed or denied the rumors of a secret wedding.
But in an interview, when Cyrus was asked about marriage, she was quick to say that she is far too young to walk down the aisle. “I don’t envision marriage. I’m 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more, I have too much living to do,” she added.
The couple first got engaged back in June 2012. But, as we all know, after some speculation, it was confirmed that the two had parted ways, only to rekindle their romance and confirm that their engagement was back on, in early 2016.
Since then, many rumors started to swirl. Among the speculation, news that the lovebirds were getting hitched in Sin City somewhere in July 2017 began to surface. According to The Sun, an insider revealed, “Right now, the plan is to tie the knot on July 4, with just a few close friends and family.” But again, that was just a rumor.
“Ringing” in More Speculation!
After the embers of that rumor cooled, there was no word about a wedding. Cyrus spoke about her relationship with Hemsworth to Billboard saying, “I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognize you anymore.’ We had to re-fall for each other.”
In a recent Instagram post, the singer showed off another band on top of her engagement ring.
We did a little snooping of our own, and though we cannot confirm if the two tied the knot, there is no real proof of an “intimate ceremony.”
When we saw Hemsworth on Saturday Night Live surprising his fiancée this week, all eyes were looking for a gold band on his finger, but it was nowhere to be seen! All we can do is hope that the couple will give us a glimpse into their ceremony once they do finally decide to tie the knot!
